Grab your wheels & winter woollies and join us for a walk or ride on the lit-up Te Awa River Ride!
Happening at The Point - Lower Waikato Esplanade, Ngaaruawaahia. Approx. 1km section (one way) from The Point along Lower Waikato Esplanade to Market St and back
5pm: Food trucks start
6pm: Lights on Te Awa start
8pm: Lights off
What to expect?
- Te Awa like never before!
- Parts of the km section will be lit up after dark, creating a unique Te Awa River Ride experience
- Walk or wheel a 1km stretch of Te Awa from The Point to Market St
- Food trucks at the start/finish and half-way entertainment will have you forgetting altogether that it’s bedtime – and it’s winter!
- All those on bikes must have lights!
- After party at the Durham St Precinct! Lights will lead you there!
