Buckland road minor improvements 2024
Project objective
Int of Buckland Rd and George St. Safer Intersections. Urban Roundabout. Pending detailed scoping and allocation to PMProject update
Project is been put on hold due to funding not been approved by Waka Kotahi. Will update as soon as we hear back.Detailed design is completed of the project and have services to relocate under the road existing road, however do not have enough budget to relocate the existing assets and do not have design given by watercare team. Council have engaged a consultant to do the design for relocation of the water services and aim to deliver the design by end of July 2024 then plan to relocate the services depending upon the budget.
